These Participant Terms & Registration Agreement (“Agreement”) govern registration for and participation in experiences offered by A DeeperDive, LLC, (“A-DeeperDive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By affirmatively checking the agreement box during registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement.
1. About A-DeeperDive
A-DeeperDive creates in-person experiences centered around meaningful conversation, connection, listening, and the exchange of different perspectives. Each experience is referred to as a “Dive.”
Each Dive may vary in topic, format, venue, number of participants, hosts, conversation prompts, food and beverage offerings, and other details.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Registration Process
To register for a Dive, you will be asked to provide certain participant information and accept this Agreement.
After submitting your registration form, A-DeeperDive will send you a separate email containing a secure payment link.
The registration fee for each Dive will be displayed on the applicable Conversation page and/or communicated to you before payment.
Your place is confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
Submitting the registration form alone does not secure or confirm your place.
A-DeeperDive may also contact you personally before the Dive as part of our participant experience. This communication is intended to connect with you and provide or discuss information related to the Dive and is not an application, interview, selection, or approval process.
4. Registration Fees and Refunds
All participant registration payments are non-refundable, except when A-DeeperDive cancels a Dive and does not reschedule it as described below.
Because Dives involve advance planning, limited space, venue commitments, and preparation based on expected attendance, we are unable to provide refunds because of a participant’s change in plans, scheduling conflict, failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, or other personal circumstances.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Severe Weather
A-DeeperDive may cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a Dive when reasonably necessary due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, venue issues, emergencies, circumstances outside our reasonable control, or other operational considerations.
If A-DeeperDive cancels a Dive and does not reschedule it, participants who paid a registration fee will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
If a Dive is rescheduled, A-DeeperDive will communicate the updated information to registered participants and provide information regarding their registration.
We encourage participants to review communications from A-DeeperDive before traveling to a Dive, particularly when severe weather or other potentially disruptive conditions are expected.
6. Third-Party Venues
Dives may take place at third-party venues throughout the Atlanta area and potentially other locations.
Participants agree to follow reasonable rules and safety requirements established by the applicable venue as well as instructions provided by A-DeeperDive.
A DeeperDive, LLC does not own or control third-party venues and is not responsible for conditions or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
7. Food, Beverages and Allergies
Food, light bites, beverages, or other refreshments may be offered at certain Dives.
Participants are responsible for informing A-DeeperDive of relevant dietary restrictions or accessibility needs when requested and for making personal decisions regarding what they consume.
We cannot guarantee that food or beverages will be free from allergens or cross-contact.
8. Alcohol
Some Dives may include alcoholic beverages where legally permitted and appropriately provided.
Consumption of alcohol is entirely optional.
Participants who choose to consume alcohol are responsible for doing so responsibly and for arranging safe transportation.
A-DeeperDive does not guarantee that alcohol will be available at any particular Dive.
9. Participant Conduct
A-DeeperDive is intended to create an environment where participants can engage openly and respectfully with people who may have different backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints.
Participants are expected to treat others respectfully and follow reasonable instructions from A-DeeperDive hosts, representatives, and venue personnel.
A-DeeperDive reserves the right to remove a participant whose behavior is threatening, harassing, discriminatory, disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or materially interferes with the experience of other participants.
A participant removed for violating these expectations will not be entitled to a refund.
10. Nature of the Conversations
Dives may involve personal, thoughtful, challenging, or sensitive topics.
Participants decide for themselves what they wish to share and are never required to disclose personal information they are uncomfortable discussing.
Participants may hear viewpoints or personal experiences with which they disagree or that they find challenging.
Participation does not guarantee any particular personal, professional, social, or emotional outcome.
11. Respect for Participant Privacy
Participants are encouraged to respect the privacy of others and exercise discretion regarding personal stories or information shared during a Dive.
However, because Dives involve group conversations among independent participants, A-DeeperDive cannot guarantee that information shared by a participant will remain confidential.
Participants should use their own judgment regarding what personal information they choose to disclose.
12. Photography, Video and Audio
A-DeeperDive may photograph, film, and/or record portions of a Dive.
By registering for and participating in a Dive, you grant A DeeperDive, LLC permission to photograph, film, and record your image, likeness, voice, and appearance and to use such photographs and recordings for A-DeeperDive’s website, social media, promotional and marketing materials, advertising, presentations, and other digital or printed materials.
You authorize A DeeperDive, LLC to edit, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use permitted photographs and recordings for these purposes, without additional approval or compensation.
You understand that photography or recording may occur during a Dive and that your participation constitutes your consent to the uses described above.
13. Assumption of Ordinary Risks
Participation in an in-person event involves ordinary risks associated with attending a gathering and visiting a third-party venue, including slips, falls, transportation-related risks, food or beverage issues, interactions with other attendees, and other circumstances that may occur during an in-person experience.
By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume the ordinary risks reasonably associated with your attendance and participation.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A DeeperDive, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in a Dive.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
A DeeperDive, LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Accessibility
We want participants to be able to engage comfortably in A-DeeperDive experiences.
If you have an accessibility-related request concerning a Dive, please contact us in advance so we can discuss available accommodations with you and, where applicable, the venue.
17. Communications
By registering for a Dive, you agree that A-DeeperDive may contact you regarding your registration, payment, scheduling, venue information, changes, reminders, the pre-Dive personal call, and other operational matters relating to your participation.
These communications are transactional and operational and are separate from optional marketing communications.
18. No Professional Services
A-DeeperDive hosts conversations and experiences. A Dive is not therapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or another professional service.
Hosts and participants should not be understood to be acting as professional advisers merely because they participate in a Dive.
19. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
20. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Changes to This Agreement
A-DeeperDive may update this Agreement periodically.
The version presented and accepted in connection with a participant’s registration will govern that registration, subject to any changes required by law.
